New General Manager named for Binghamton Rumble Ponies

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies have a new General Manager. The team and ownership group, Diamond Baseball Holdings, announced Thursday that David "Peterman" Peterson has been promoted to G.M.

Peterson brings 19 seasons of professional and collegiate baseball experience to the position. Before joining the Rumble Ponies, he spent 11 seasons as General Manager of the Worcester Bravehearts, leading the team to four league championships. He joined Binghamton in August of 2025 as Assistant General Manager of Sales, helping lead the team's sales efforts and build relationships throughout the community.
Peterson succeeds Richard Tylicki, who has been with Binghamton baseball since 1995. Tylicki helped guide the organization through more than three decades of changes and is now moving on to his next chapter.
