NASCAR finally done with full 2027 race schedule: Where does it start and finish?
· Yahoo Sports
After a few weeks of layering, the 2027 NASCAR schedule is finally whole and in one piece, stretching as usual from February to November, and again in familiar places, but with a few adjustments to the calendar.
The biggest "news," in no particular order:
Visit arroznegro.club for more information.
- The preseason Clash is back at Daytona after three years "abroad" (Los Angeles Coliseum) and two years of time traveling (Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem).
- There will be a Year 2 at Naval Base Coronado just off the coast of San Diego. There was speculation that downtown Chicago might return as NASCAR's high-profile street race, but it'll be Coronado again, with a big tease about going to a different military base in 2028.
- Homestead-Miami Speedway will host championship weekend for a second straight year in 2027.
- North Wilkesboro remains but will host the All-Star Race, while Dover (the 2026 All-Star host) moves back to the regular-season schedule.
Another change in timing sees the entire 2027 slate pushed back a week later than where it would normally sit. Next February's season-opening Daytona 500, will be run a week later than normal. The 500's traditional Sunday of Presidents Day weekend has been seized by the Super Bowl, due to a quirk of the calendar that has shoved back the start of this year's NFL season a week later than usual.
Where respect for our roots meets the fuel for our future.
