Sutton was named Pro Football Focus' Offensive Player of the Week after a three-catch, 60-yard performance against the Falcons. Sutton was also named a preseason Week 1 winner by CBS.

Sutton had the most receiving yards of any offensive player in the game, and tied for the most catches. As part of his award-winning performance, Sutton set up the Broncos' first score of the game, a jump ball that was spotted at the Falcons' one-yard line.

Below are Sutton's highlights from the game:

Sutton also had a nifty one-handed grab, which resulted in a first down. Pat McAfee and Co. reacted to Sutton's catch on the Pat McAfee Show.

"Hell of a catch here in preseason," McAfee said on Monday. "They got studs in Denver!"

"I think we should start talking about (the Broncos) a little bit more," said Darius Butler, agreeing with McAfee.

Denver coach Sean Payton praised Sutton's reliability after Monday's practice.

“I think it’s been a strength of his before, even early in his career, you guys were here," Payton said. "When you’re his size, there are going to be traffic catches and one of the things that he does well is position himself in areas where it’s a nice target for the QB. I prefer bigger receivers like that for that reason. I think it’s a game that’s played in close quarters, and so the catch radius for the QB throwing it to him is larger.”

Sutton is still one of the most trusted targets for any Broncos quarterback throwing his way. Despite losing some targets to Jaylen Waddle, Sutton's goal remains the same: to win.
