Jayen Adams’s partner, Aqueelah Adendorf, has marked the one-month anniversary of his death with immense sadness. The former Bafana Bafana and Sundowns player reportedly took his own life last month, just weeks after the national team’s return from the FIFA World Cup.

The 25-year-old leaves behind two children – a five-year-old daughter with Aqueelah, and a toddler son with another woman.

JAYDEN ADAMS’S PARTNER MARKS ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY

On her Instagram account, Aqueelah Adendorf remembered Jayden Adams on the one-month anniversary of his death this week.

The mother of one shared: “I don’t think I’ll ever truly heal from your death, Jayden.  A part of me is left with you, and I’ll carry this pain and the emptiness you left behind for the rest of my life. I just wish you could come back.”

“My heart hurts in ways I can’t even explain. I’m trying to be strong, but some days the pain of losing you feels unbearable.

Aqueelah added that she was still in disbelief over Jayden Adams’ death.

“A whole month without your voice, your presence, your smile… yet the pain feels like it happened yesterday. I miss you more than words could ever explain. I wish I could have one more conversation, one more hug, one more moment with you. Life has carried on, but a part of me is still stuck on the day you left.

“You will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever a part of me. I hope heaven is treating you gently, my love. One month gone, but never one day forgotten”.
