First was rookie fourth round CB Jermod McCoy not on the field for the first time in camp. Then during practice, third round DE Keyron Crawford left after a backfield collision with fellow edge rusher Malcolm Koonce.

McCoy missed most of the offseason as the team has been trying to be careful with him due to his knee injury situation. The situation being that he dropped in the draft due to concerns his knee could require another surgery and if that ends up the case, it could be career ending. So, this could just be the Raiders being cautious. More on that later.

Being cautious the name of the game in training camp. Michael Mayer hurt his nose last week, causing him to leave practice and miss Tuesday's practice as well.

A collision like that for Crawford would certainly be enough for the Raiders to take him out for the rest of practice. But until we learn more, there's no way to tell for sure.
