NaLyssa Smith and DiJonai Carrington were one of the most controversial duos who were in a relationship earlier. After Smith was traded to Las Vegas from Dallas in June 2025, the distance between the two grew over time. In November, Carrington revealed that they were no longer together. They had begun dating during their time in college, when they played together for Baylor University. And now, Carrington has revealed some key details.

In February this year, Smith talked to fans on her livestream and expressed her disappointment after dating a WNBA player. She added that she would not like to date anybody famous now after her experience with Carrington. On Sunday, the Chicago Sky forward revealed her side of the story. She wrote on Threads:
“Since (…) wanna be funny today ima be hilarious! yes , nalyssa cheated on me with Deja Kelly and Aaliyah Nye +++ many more.”
While Smith is one of the starters for the Aces, Carrington is still recovering from her ankle surgery. Carrington alleged that Smith cheated on her with other Aces players Deja Kelly and Aaliyah Nye while they were dating. The plus signs might signify that there were other names.
Meanwhile, there are no official confirmations of Carrington’s cheating allegations against Smith. Moreover, the two parties have not responded to any such claims.
