WWE superstar Danhausen has become a huge star in the USA thanks to his ‘curse’ gimmick.
The wrestler, who only made his WWE debut earlier this year, gained a lot of popularity during the New York Knicks’ run in the 2026 NBA playoffs, where he cursed every team they were not playing against.

That made him a popular figure among Knicks fans and even saw him invited to watch the NBA team in action at Madison Square Garden.
This week, though, Danhausen has turned his attention away from basketball and towards soccer.

The 2026 World Cup final took place on Sunday, with Argentina and Spain going head-to-head.
Donald Trump did not want to bet against Lionel Messi ahead of kick-off, leading some to suggest the ‘Trump curse’ theory is back.

A fan video shared on X/Twitter showed the wrestler being asked who he was cursing for the match on July 19, to which he replied: “Argentina”.
Now, after Spain secured a 1-0 win, Danhausen has taken to X to react to the video by writing: “Danhausen did it again.”
Maybe Argentina should have sent Danhausen some ‘human monies’ if they wanted to beat Spain.
