Saturday Night Open Thread: Where there’s smoke…

Live from Delaware, it’s Saturday Night! I, NAS204PSU, am here at BTSC to bring you this Saturday Night Open Thread (aka SNOT).

The air quality this week had me reliving my childhood as a second hand smoker. My dad, and most of my aunts, uncles, and cousins were heavy smokers. Windows were down in the car, but the smoke persisted. We had so many Marlboro miles that our entire camping set was bright red and plastered with “Marlboro” logos (Tents, sleeping bags, lanterns, pocket knives, etc). I’m surprised we never visited the Marlboro Ranch in Montana.
Well, the smoky smell this week (Blame Matt Canada!) made me appreciate that most of my relatives quit (including my dad AFTER his heartattack). I also recall when PA required many bar-straunts to go smoke-free, it was magical.
Want to quit smoking? Check out this website for some free resources. Local US states may also have websites such as here.
This 4 pack of questions is here to get the conversation going, and also let us know what you’re eating/drinking!
1. Do you think JPJ’s contract situation (or rather the lack thereof) is
A) a smoldering wildfire OR
B) a lot of blowing smoke
2. Which yet-to-catch-fire-Steeler do you hope ignites in training camp?
3. Have you ever looked at a situation and accurately predicted it was going to blow up? (i.e., you said “where there’s smoke, there’s fire”, and later it all went up in flames)
4. Tell about about the best smoked meat recipe you’ve ever had?
