Missouri Valley Football Conference releases 2026 preseason poll

SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – We are coming down to the final weeks before the college football season kicks off, and earlier this week, the Missouri Valley Football Conference released its preseason poll.

With North Dakota State headed for the Mountain West, the poll has South Dakota State taking the top rank after finishing last season 9-5.
Then, at number five with a new head coach is the University of South Dakota, after the Yotes finished their third straight ten-win season.
At number seven comes Northern Iowa after a tough year last year, finishing 3-9.
We will see how it all plays out once the season begins on August 27th!
