"Honestly, I kind of stay out of politics completely. It’s just not my thing," the influencer said. "I just like showing my life and showing how you can still be an athlete and you can still do a ton of other things and enjoy a ton of other things."

"So, I just kind of like showing people that everything’s possible and I love just showing the new generation my progress through college, eventually, but obviously how I got to where I am today."

Kai Trump is set to play NCAA Division I collegiate golf at the University of Miami. Her mother, Vanessa Trump, is Tiger Woods' partner. Her father is Donald Trump Jr.

In February 2025, Trump became the highest-valued player in girls’ high school golf, following a lucrative endorsement deal with big-name golf equipment company TaylorMade.

The interviewer went on to ask Trump her opinion about the UFC 250 event that took place on the White House grounds on Sunday, June, 14.

"I think the UFC event was great and it was really cool being there and especially having veterans in the stadium as well, that’s where you can kinda combine the (America) 250 point of view on it. But I thought it was great."

Kai Trump previously talked about staying away from politics

The athlete has made similar comments in the past.

While speaking on the "Impaulsive" podcast with Logan Paul that aired on Jan. 6, Trump said, "I would never run, I don't want anything to do with politics," she said. "I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing, and I think if both sides met in the middle, everyone would be so much more (happy)."

Still, she said she's supportive of her grandfather.

"He's literally just a cool grandpa," she said. Kai took the stage at the 2024 Republican National Convention to speak about her grandfather, telling Paul the speech was her idea.

However, golf remains her main focus, adding she wants to "turn pro, win a few tournaments, (and be) hopefully number one in the world eventually." The influencer has nearly 1.5 million subscribers on her YouTube channel and 3.1 million Instagram followers.
