On Wednesday, the league announced the home openers for every team. And while that's just one game, the Bruins are also the home-opening opponent for two other teams, which means it's possible to deduce their first three games from the announcement.
First up will be Boston's home opener. They play on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at home against the New York Rangers. That's the first day of any action in the new NHL season, so the Bruins will be a part of opening night.
They then head to Winnipeg to play on Friday, Oct. 2 in what will be the Jets' home opener.
The Bruins will go back-to-back from there, traveling to Minnesota to take on the Wild on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The full NHL schedule will be out Thursday at 1 p.m. ET.
So the Bruins open home against the Rangers, then on the road against the Jets and the Wild.
The Rangers and Jets both missed the playoffs in disappointing 2025-26 seasons, while the Wild are one of the Western Conference's top teams.
Based on this, we also know the Bruins will be in Winnipeg Oct. 2 and in Minnesota Oct. 3. So, that's their first three games:

The Bruins are coming off a season in which they reached the playoffs but then were eliminated in the first round by the Buffalo Sabres.
Boston hasn't made any massive offseason moves, but they were always set up to retain a lot of their core, and they'll be counting on internal growth to help them take the next steps forward.
It's exciting regardless to think about the beginning of a new season, when hope pretty much springs eternal.
For Boston, that hopeful journey will begin at home at the end of September.
