In one of the most insane streaks in all of sports, Bayern Munich will — once again — be watching the World Cup semifinals and waiting to see if the club’s crazy streak of having at least one player in every World Cup final since 1982 will continue.

With Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano representing France and Harry Kane as part of England’s team, the Bavarians probably feel pretty good about their chances.

France will play Spain later today, while England takes on Argentina on Wednesday. @iMiaSanMia compiled the participation data:

– 1986 final: Lothar Matthäus, Dieter Hoeneß, Norbert Eder

– 1990 final: Klaus Augenthaler, Stefan Reuter, Jürgen Kohler

– 1994 final: Jorginho

– 1998 final: Bixente Lizarazu
