Duke alum Isaiah Evans struggles in Minnesota Timberwolves debut

· Yahoo Sports

After being forced to sit out of his first summer league game with the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a pending trade, former Blue Devil Isaiah Evans made his NBA debut Saturday. Unfortunately for the two-year Duke alum, things didn't quite go to plan.

The recent No. 33 overall pick was held to just four points on a rough 2-for-15 shooting night, which included an 0-for-9 performance from beyond the arc. Evans did tally five rebounds, one assist and one block, but his plus-minus was the worst of any player at -27.

Evans will have another chance to impress Monday, July 13, as the Timberwolves face the Portland Trail Blazers and another Duke alum, DJ Steward.
