"I feel great. I feel absolutely amazing. Stellar. The work has been exceptional. No corners cut," McGregor told The MacLife. "You know, no flash. We've been quiet this camp, and we've been at work. So, that's confidence. You know, there's a lack of confidence if you need to share things or get, you know, get this ego boost. You don't need it. We'll do it on the night, so I'm excited for it. I'm excited for my team and my country."
The two first fought at UFC Fight Night 26 in August 2013. McGregor defeated Holloway via unanimous decision in a featherweight bout that night in Boston.
"Listen, there's a different thud when you fight against me. I fought once against Max Holloway years ago. I look forward to my improvements on it," said McGregor. "I love a rematch. Who doesn't love the story builds, the tension builds. The fans get excited. They've got comparisons. They've got - It's great for business. I'm all for a good rematch."
"Danger will be everywhere inside the octagon for Max. We are well aware of him in this gym, in this camp," said the Irishman.
Although, it's been five years since he last competed, McGregor expects to be in top form inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
"I won't overestimate any opponent. I'll be ready for any outcome. If it is a war or attrition, bring it," he said. "I'll be out with my paint brush, ready to put on my masterpiece."
