Former Vikings WR predicted to land back in the NFC
· Yahoo Sports
NFL free agency has come to a halt in terms of any major signings, but there are still a number of big names left out there. One of the bigger names left without a home for 2026 is wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Diggs spent last season with the New England Patriots, posting 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns. The former Minnesota Viking could be heading back to the NFC, according to one writer.
Moe Moton of Bleacher Report went over the best landing spots for the remaining free agents, and he listed the Washington Commanders as the best spot for Diggs. The Commanders have been linked to Brandon Aiyuk, but with all the question marks surrounding Aiyuk right now, especially seeing as he is still a member of the San Francisco 49ers, that will become a waiting game.

Diggs is not without question marks himself, as he was in legal issues with his private chef, who accused him of felony assault and strangulation, but would later be acquitted. It's not surprising to see some players wait until the chips fall to find their ideal landing spot, and that could be the case here with Diggs. Diggs performed well last season and could become a solid WR2 for Jayden Daniels and Washington.
