The Cincinnati Bengals were very busy this offseason, retooling their roster, especially on the defensive side of the football, in an effort to get back among the AFC contenders.
Their overhaul included bringing in two former first-round picks on the defensive line, including their blockbuster trade to acquire defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence from the New York Giants for the No. 10 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. QB Joe Burrow (No. 1, 2020)
The face of the franchise since joining the Bengals in 2020. Burrow is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time Comeback Player of the Year. Injuries have played a role in his career, but he did throw for almost 5,000 yards and 43 touchdowns in 2024.
QB Joe Flacco (No. 18, 2008, Ravens)
Flacco is back for a second year backing up Joe Burrow after the Bengals acquired Flacco from the Cleveland Browns last season. Flacco is entering his 19th NFL season (11 with Baltimore, one with Denver, three with New York Jets, two with Cleveland in two stints, one with Indianapolis, two with Cincinnati).
WR Ja'Marr Chase (No. 6, 2021)
In just five seasons, Chase has already become an elite wide receiver. He has topped 1,000 yards in all five seasons, including his triple-crown season in 2024. Chase caught 127 passes for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns. He is arguably the best wide receiver in the entire league.
OT Amarius Mims (No, 18, 2024)

Murphy took on more of a role in 2025, starting ten games and set career highs across the board, including 5.5 sacks.
DT Jonathan Allen (No. 17, 2017, Vikings)
The Bengals quickly scooped up Jonathan Allen on March 12 after he was a cap casualty of the Minnesota Vikings on March 11. The 31-year-old brings plenty of experience to the table. He started all 17 games in his one season in 2025 in Minnesota after eight seasons in Washington.
DT Dexter Lawrence (No. 17, 2019, Giants)
The big splash of the offseason for the Bengals came about a week before the draft, when the Bengals acquired Lawrence from the New York Giants. In seven seasons with the Giants, Lawrence played in 109 games (102 starts), recorded 30.5 sacks and 341 tackles. He is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time Second Team AP All Pro.
DE Shemar Stewart (No. 17, 2025)
Between injuries and a late signing of his rookie contract, Stewart had an up-and-down rookie season. He played in eight games, recording 11 tackles and one sack. He could see more of a role in his second season.
CB Dax Hill (No. 31, 2022)
Hill has been a versatile piece of the Bengals' secondary in his four seasons, but has seemed to have settled in at cornerback. He started all 17 games last season, posting 88 tackles, one interception and 11 passes defended.
