Lomu, an Arizona native, was the first player drafted in a nine-person 2026 rookie class for the Patriots. Throughout the early spring practices, he has shown glimpses of a promising swing tackle who could add much-needed depth to the offensive line.

Along with preparing for his first training camp, Lomu has used the time with his teammates, particularly the other rookies, as a bonding opportunity.

"We're already super close. We've gotten to do so many things together. Went to a Red Sox game just yesterday... It's been awesome," said Lomu.

It’s always great to hear that the rookies are getting acclimated with each other and bonding as a team.

This group in particular could be key to the future for the Patriots, as the team looks to build a perennial Super Bowl contender after its success last season.
