Longhorns Daily News: Texas football makes minor change to jerseys

Part of what makes the Texas football brand so powerful is the winning, yes, but also the fact that the program has insisted on keeping in-tact its physical identity for more than a century.

That’s not including minor changes that have been made, such as adding conference patches, such as how the program replaced its former league, the Big 12, with an SEC sleeve patch when the Longhorns moved to the conference back in August 2024—nearly two years ago.

The latest subtle change, according to OnTexasFootball, will the moving of the SEC patch from the sleeve area to the middle of the collar, at the jersey’s v-section, as other schools do.
