Broncos cut cornerback to make room for tryout signing
· Yahoo Sports
After signing cornerback Blake Cotton on Thursday, the Denver Broncos waived rookie cornerback Ahmari Harvey, according to KUSA-TV's Mike Klis.
Harvey (5-11, 185 pounds) attended Auburn for one season (2021) before transferring to Georgia Tech, where he played 43 games from 2022-'25. During his time with the Yellow Jackets, Harvey made 121 total tackles (98 solo, 23 assisted, 5.5 tackles for loss), one sack, four interceptions, 12 pass deflections, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

NFL.com's Lance Zierlein projected Harvey would be a seventh-round draft pick or a high-priority free agent ahead of the NFL draft this spring. Harvey was one of 13 undrafted free agents signed by the Denver Broncos immediately after April's draft.
Harvey was always going to be a long shot to make the roster in a crowded secondary. He'll now hit the waiver wire and help to catch on with another club.
