According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Atlanta Falcons will sign former Packers edge rusher Keshawn Banks, who was one of the most disruptive players in the UFL during the 2026 season.
Banks, who went undrafted out of San Diego State, signed with the Packers following the 2023 draft. He spent the 2023 season on the team's practice squad but was released at final roster cutdown before the 2024 season. He played 99 snaps across the 2023 and 2024 preseasons with the Packers, tallying three pressures and five stops.
After Green Bay, Banks spent time with the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals in 2024 before transitioning to the UFL, where he originally signed with the Michigan Panthers before playing the 2026 season with the Orlando Storm.
Banks produced 5.0 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a UFL-high 11.0 tackles for loss over 10 games this season.
The 26-year-old will now head to Atlanta to compete for a 53-man roster spot with the Falcons this summer. The Packers are scheduled to host the Falcons on "Thursday Night Football" in Week 3 of the 2026 regular season.
With the UFL season now over, several of the league's top players are signing deals to join NFL teams. The Packers have yet to sign a player from the UFL this offseason.
