· Yahoo Sports
Former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly on the verge of taking the helm at AC Milan.
The Portuguese sports newspaper A Bola and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said on Monday that Amorim and the Italian club have reached an agreement in principle on a contract running until 2028, with an option for a further season.

There has been no official confirmation of the reports.
AC had a disappointing season under manager Massimiliano Allegri, missing out on a Champions League spot in Serie A on the final matchday after a home defeat.
The Milan side subsequently announced Allegri's dismissal, along with the club's managing director, sporting director and technical director.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reported last week that ex-Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner was set to join the club, while Austria's national coach Ralf Rangnick has also been mentioned as a candidate.
Amorim has been without a club since his dismissal from Manchester United in January.
The 41-year-old previously managed the Portuguese clubs Sporting Lisbon, SC Braga and Casa Pia AC.
