Notre Dame football legacy target sets commitment date
· Yahoo Sports
It’s hard to beat Notre Dame football when they are offering a legacy prospect, and that is looking like the case once again in the 2027 recruiting cycle.

The Irish have been after Julius Jones Jr., whose father by the same name was a running back from 1999-2003 and was a second-round selection by the Dallas Cowboys. While the younger Jones is a wide receiver, the football talent runs deep in the family as he’s ranked as the No. 75 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite.
Jones took an official visit to Miami at the end of May, and has just one scheduled this summer, to see South Bend starting this coming Thursday. Over the weekend, he made it known when he’ll be making his commitment, on Sunday, June 21st, with a national audience on the Pat McAfee Show.
The timing of Jones announcement, along with his deep ties to Notre Dame, make it seem like he’ll join his father wearing the Blue and Gold during his collegiate career.
