There is no denying that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the highly sought-after players ahead of free agency. After another disappointing season with the Bucks, there are rumors that he could be traded over the summer. The Miami Heat has emerged as a potential trade destination for Antetokounmpo.

On Sunday, NBA reporter Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson said that the Heat isn’t only targeting Antetokounmpo. Robinson mentioned two-time champion Kawhi Leonard as another star the franchise will go after in the offseason.
The Heat said at the end of the season that it will actively look for a star for the next campaign. Given that both Antetokounmpo and Leonard had underwhelming seasons, they could be on the move this summer.
Robinson appeared on Fox Sports Radio’s “The Odd Couple with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington,” and brought up the idea of the Heat potentially going for both stars.
“Imagine a world where Kawhi Leonard—who memorably won an NBA championship alongside Norman Powell with the Toronto Raptors in 2019—rejoins Powell in Miami to form an unprecedented superteam alongside Bam Adebayo,” Robinson wrote.
Robinson proposed a three-team deal with the Heat, Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers to land both All-Stars. He said that it would require a massive reshuffling of assets.
“In this scenario, the Miami Heat would emerge as the ultimate destination for elite star power, landing both multi-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks and two-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers. This instantly transforms South Beach into the most formidable championship powerhouse in the league.”
Robinson also said that the Heat might have to hollow out their depth to make such a deal possible.

However, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst shut the rumors down and said that he has not heard that the Celtics are part of Antetokounmpo’s preferred list. Windhorst also reported that the Greek Freak isn’t ready to sign a contract extension.
However, the ESPN reporter said that there’s still a chance for him to become a reality.
“Now let’s have a discussion,” Windhorst said. “But I haven’t heard that. Just because I haven’t heard doesn’t mean it’s not true. But until those two things are true, I don’t think it’s really something that’s in the world of reality.”
