The Chapel Hill Regional will begin on Friday at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. North Carolina (45-11-1) is the host school and the Tar Heels are a No. 5 national seed.
North Carolina will open play versus No. 4 regional seed VCU (37-23) on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. EDT (ESPN+).

No. 2 regional seed Tennessee (38-20) will also face No. 3 regional seed East Carolina (36-22-1) on Friday at noon EDT. The matchup will be televised by ESPNU.
The Vols will play in their first NCAA Tournament under head coach Josh Elander.
