Well…almost.
We were not good in the first half, but City really weren’t all that great either.

We were better in the second half, but still not quite good enough … or lucky enough with the penalty shout(s) — especially the Jorrel Hato one.
Semenyo’s finish was godly. So it goes.
Our best chance was Enzo’s soon after, but he hoisted his hooked effort over the bar. Unlucky.
Carefree.
- Just two changes from last weekend, with Sánchez coming back in to goal and Reece James getting the start instead of Andrey Santos
- It’s now 14 without a win against City in all competitions (since the 2021 Champions League final)
- And we’ve now lost seven (7!) straight finals at Wembley (since the 2018 FA Cup final); that’s surely inconceivable
- Next up: Spurs at home on Tuesday; the last game at the Bridge this season; not much to fight for excpet to maybe keep Spurs’ relegation threat alive
