Following the victories, USC moved up in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll. The Trojans rose three spots, sliding up to No. 13 in the rankings.

USC jumped ahead of No. 15 Oregon, who fell one spot after dropping two of three games to No. 1 UCLA. The Trojans also moved in front of Kansas and Coastal Carolina, who fell eight spots each to No. 17 and No. 18, respectively.

This week, USC and Oregon will face off in a massive three-game series in Eugene to close out the regular season. The series will have massive implications for both the Big Ten and NCAA Tournament races.

The Trojans need to win two of three against the Ducks to guarantee that they finish in the top four of the conference standings and ensure a bye to the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament. They could potentially still finish in the top four with one victory in Eugene, but would need some help with losses from Purdue and Michigan.
