Liv Morgan performed a live, lip-synced version of her new single "Trouble." She was still sporting the black eye and bruises from Vaquer’s memorable backstage attack on the April 6 broadcast of Raw.

Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan received very little live promo time compared to other WrestleMania feuds. This was by design and it paid off in spades. Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan didn’t need to talk to sell their high-octane rivalry. Because that feud was built on the strength of two words:

On sight.

Since Morgan won the 2026 Royal Rumble and chose Vaquer as her opponent, every ensuing exchange has either included a deeply personal insult or a unabashed brawl. Vaquer attacked Morgan from behind on the March 23 broadcast of Raw, leading to a backstage skirmish. The following week, Liv Morgan called Stephanie’s mother “trash” in Spanish.

The on-sight brawl during that particular week saw the surprise return of Roxanne Perez. Sadly, Roxanne was injured all over again one week later when another brawl between Stephanie and Liv started with Vaquer blasting Liv from behind, forcing Morgan and Perez to clonk heads. The matching hematomas made it look like the Judgment Day just got done with a bare knuckle sparring session. Vaquer and Morgan tried to recreate this spot the following week on Raw, albeit a much safer version, when Morgan bumped Vaquer into Cathy Kelley.

Vaquer vs. Morgan is an example of WWE doing more with less in its storytelling, and it has paid off. Every biting, personal word that has been spoken has mattered just as much as the unhinged fisticuffs between the two rivals. WWE has borrowed from the Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi playbook by leaning on physicality to book a world title WrestleMania feud.
