Could Kentucky see another commitment today?

Kentucky is heavily involved with both Syracuse transfer Donnie Freeman and Colorado transfer Sebastian Rancik, and there’s a belief that one of those players could make a decision today.

Kentucky Sports Radio’s Matt Jones said yesterday evening he thinks either Freeman or Rancik will commit to Kentucky before the end of the day today.

Freeman seems to be deciding between Kentucky and St. Johns, while Rancik is considering Florida State along with Kentucky.

As a sophomore at Syracuse last year, Freeman averaged 16.5 points per game to go along with 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

As a sophomore at Colorado, Rancik averaged 12.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game.

It’s probably unlikely that Kentucky will land both, so this may be a game of seeing who pulls the trigger first for a commitment. Which player would you rather see in Lexington next season?
