Journalist confirms that any Chelsea fan wanting Clearlake out will be very disappointed

There are many Chelsea fans who want Clearlake to sell up their stake in Chelsea right now and in fact, some want BlueCo out.
I’ve seen many Chelsea fans wanting the entire ownership to sell up right now. And whilst there seems to be a chance that Todd Boehly sells his stake, Clearlake are not going anywhere, according to journalist Ben Jacobs this week.

BlueCo are the collective owners of Chelsea, named because they are taking on more than one club, with Strasbourg obviously joining that multi-club umbrella so far.
But the Clearlake side of BlueCo have no intentions of selling their stake, as much as Chelsea fans want them to right now.

Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have an awkward hello.
As cited on X this week, journalist Ben Jacobs has said on The London is Blue Podcast:
“Clearlake will NOT sell Chelsea. Todd Boehly has already been down that route and explored it. Clearlake’s position is status quo or they would potentially be prepared to buy out Todd Boehly and increase their stake even more.
“Summer 2027 is a timeframe when we could see some discussions on what to do next from Todd’s side, there will be a new chairman and he knows Clearlake’s not for sale position and that they have no intention to leave.
“Todd wants progression on the stadium.”

Meanwhile, World Cup winner Marco Materazzi has told Chelsea that they made a mistake letting Enzo Maresca go and they need a change. He is suggesting that they look to bring in their former player Cesc Fabregas instead.
