Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg don’t have any bad blood ahead of the UFC 327 main event but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of intensity between them with so much riding on the fight.
On Thursday, Prochazka and Ulberg faced off for the second time during fight week following the conclusion of the pre-fight press conference.

As the overwhelming fan favorite, Prochazka undoubtedly received the biggest cheers from the Miami crowd, which actually led to Ulberg receiving plenty of boos any time he spoke during the press conference.
Following the conclusion of the questions and answers, Prochazka and Ulberg shook hands before they came nose-to-nose with UFC CEO Dana White keeping a close eye to ensure there was no pushing or shoving. But Prochazka and Ulberg were consummate professionals, although you could cut the tension with a knife as they stared each other down on stage.
The light heavyweights are competing for a vacant title after Alex Pereira relinquished the belt to move to heavyweight where he’s seeking a third UFC championship when he faces Ciryl Gane at the UFC White House card in June.
With Pereira gone, Prochazka is seeking his second reign as UFC light heavyweight champion while Ulberg is attempting to build on his nine-fight win streak while getting his first opportunity to capture gold in the promotion.
Prochazka vs. Ulberg caps off the UFC 327 card with the entire event airing on Paramount+ with the main card kicking off at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT on Saturday.
