Wrexham will 'give it a good go' in push for promotion

Midfielder George Dobson says Wrexham are in a "good position" as they enter the final weeks of the race for promotion to the Premier League.
Wrexham are seventh in the Championship, level on points with sixth-place Southampton, one of three top six sides they will face in their final seven games.

The Red Dragons will also face current top two – Coventry City and Middlesbrough – as they attempt to achieve a fourth successive promotion.
"These are the games that you want to play and we're obviously competing to get into the best league in the world," Dobson said.
"We've put ourselves in a really good position where we know that we can just go full throttle basically for seven games and just give it as good a go as we've got.
"There's a really good feel in the dressing room and a real excitement towards the last month of the season because there's still so much to play for."
Manager Phil Parkinson said Wrexham's players are "chomping at the bit" prior to the resumption of the EFL season following the international break.
Although Wrexham are very much in the Championship play-off mix, Dobson insists the squad have not given much thought to the possibility of playing in English football's top-flight next season.
"We don't really talk about the Premier League to be fair," Dobson added.
"Obviously people talk in terms of we watch Premier League football and we'll watch the other games in our league that are on.
"We're just trying to give ourselves the best possible opportunity to have the chance to get in there and then that's all we can do and it starts Friday."
Wrexham travel to West Bromwich Albion on Friday, 3 April (15:00 BST) before facing FA Cup quarter finalists Southampton at the Stok Cae Ras next Tuesday.
Dobson joined Wrexham during the 2024 summer transfer window after leaving Charlton Athletic, where he had been captain.
He had been expected to complete a move to Hungarian club Fehervar but he pulled out due to personal circumstances and instead linked up with his former Sunderland boss Parkinson in north Wales.
This season - his first in the Championship - he has appeared in 33 league games and scored once.
"I've played in League One for a really long time, my whole career," Dobson said.
"So at 28 to get the opportunity to play in the Championship was one I was really looking forward to.
"Obviously I knew it was going to be tough being at a club that pushes so quickly.
"But I'm delighted to have played as much as I have and obviously thankful to the gaffer for that.
"And I think my performances have been consistent and looking to improve all the time really."
