The four are set to make history, travelling to the far side of the moon, then turning back in a trip spanning 405,000 km — making it the farthest distance ever travelled from Earth.
The journey is expected to take approximately 10 days.
The team has a two-hour launch window beginning at 6:24 p.m. at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
