Adidas has unveiled South Africa’s new 2026/2027 season football jerseys to rave reviews from the public. The yellow and green home and away kits will be worn by Bafana Bafana at the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

ADIDAS REVEALS NEW SAFA JERSEYS

Earlier this month, Adidas, which returned as a South Africa Football Association (SAFA) sponsor for the next three years, revealed its new kit for the 2026/2027 season.  The kits will be worn by Bafana Bafana at the Fifa World Cup, which takes place between 11 June 2026 and 19 July 2026 in three host countries: Canada, Mexico and the US.

The home kit – previously designed by Le Coq Sportif-  features the signature yellow jersey with green trimmings. The SAFA logo and South Africa’s national emblem – the protea flower – accompany the Adidas logos on the front of the jersey.

The away kit – features the colours in reverse.

According to Adidas, the jerseys feature

  • CLIMACOOL+ technology, using engineered stretch fabrics with 3D body mapping to improve ventilation, enhance breathability and help keep players dry in high-intensity and high-temperature conditions. 
  • Perforated three-stripe panels and strategically placed mesh zones further improve airflow and comfort.
  • A lenticular heat-applied federation crest 

The kits, particularly the away jersey, have received rave reviews from soccer fans on social media.
