Tom Brady admits he's inquired about NFL return after viral TD pass

· Yahoo Sports

Tom Brady had NFL fans reminiscing about his legendary career after he fired a touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs in last week's Fanatics Flag Football Classic.

It turns out Brady was feeling nostalgic as well, so much so the 48-year-old looked into a potential NFL return.

In an interview with CNBC, Brady revealed he inquired about the possibility of playing in the league while maintaining his minority ownership of the Las Vegas Raiders.

“I actually have inquired, and they don’t like that idea very much,” Brady said. “We explored a lot of different things, and I’m very happily retired. Let me just say that, too.”

Per a 2023 league policy, Brady is prohibited from playing NFL football unless he divests his ownership stake, which he has not been inclined to do. But when you're maneuvering in the pocket this deftly and zipping in passes this accurately, it has to be challenging for Brady to keep that door closed.

Brady is simply immortal.
