Quarterback Will Levis' time with the Tennessee Titans could be coming to an end this offseason.

Levis showed a ton of promise during his rookie season in 2023, but his lone year as Tennessee's starter in 2024 was abysmal. As a result, the Titans selected Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, ending Levis's short tenure as the starter.

After getting shoulder surgery in July 2025, Levis didn't play a snap this past season, which sealed his fate with the Titans. The team also added Mitch Trubisky to be the new backup quarterback in free agency, so it's time to give Levis a fresh start, and that sounds like the plan.

NFL reporter Evan Sidery says the Titans are indeed shopping Levis, and are seeking a late Day 3 pick swap.

"The Titans are shopping Will Levis in return for a Day 3 pick swap. Tennessee would clear $2 million moving off Levis, which they’re eager to do as they continue building their roster around Cam Ward," Sidery said.

The Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Las Vegas Raiders have a need at backup quarterback, and could be possible landing spots for Levis.

At this point, Levis would be an upgrade over Teddy Bridgewater as the No. 2 signal-caller for Detroit, while Green Bay could acquire the Kentucky product from the Titans to replace Malik Willis.

Matt LaFleur would be the perfect coach to develop Levis and get the best out of him, so the Packers would be an ideal spot for him.

Las Vegas could also add a backup behind Fernando Mendoza, who is expected to be the Raiders' top pick in April. Levis could be that guy, though it would be wise for Las Vegas to bring in an experienced veteran to help Mendoza, rather than a reclamation project.

Levis has had a tough last two seasons, but he should have some interest on the trade market, and a change of scenery is a massive step towards him getting his career on track.
