The Tennessee Titans continue to work on filling out their roster as the NFL free agency market is in full swing.

On Thursday, mixed in with a flurry of depth signings, the Titans re-signed one of their own, safety Jerrick Reed II, to a one-year contract.

Reed joined the Titans in November 2025, after the trade deadline move that sent Dre’Mont Jones to the Baltimore Ravens. A former sixth-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks in the 2023 NFL Draft, the New Mexico product burst onto the scene and was named to the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) NFL All-Rookie Team, even after missing time with a torn ACL. He returned in 2024 but struggled and was released in 2025, finishing his Seahawks career with 18 total tackles (13 solo) on defense and special teams.

After jumping on a moving train in Nashville, Reed was a depth piece that was limited to three games, making six total tackles (four solo). He will now return with a shot to carve out a role in the Titans' new-look defense.
