He may have flown under the radar for a year, but he is on Peel Regional Police’s radar now.

While his high-paying criminal career was going well, it now seems this sneaky break-and-enter artist’s lucky streak is about to run out. Police, however, say that in the meantime, he’s done well playing with other people’s money and property.

It may be a dirty business plan but it has been lucrative for this thief, who police in Mississauga’s 11 Division are looking for. You work hard for what you have, and he comes into your business and takes it for himself.

Thanks to his medical mask and buttoned-down winter coat, you may not even notice him, but many of you may have been visited by him.

Peel police have noticed him, however, and are on the look for him and are hoping you can help.

Suspect wanted for 54 offences

“It is alleged (he) stole approximately $150,000 worth of property,” said a police news release. “Kenneth Levy, a 39-year-old man from Mississauga, is currently wanted for allegedly committing 54 Criminal Code offences.”

You read right: 54 is the number. When police break it down, that works out to 27 break and enters and 27 charges of wearing a “disguise” with intent to steal.

Skilled and prolific, he allegedly is. But no longer anonymous. He doesn’t have many moves left. And no element of surprise.

The best move for Levy, who has not seen the evidence against him tested in court, is to surrender to police today and save the effort of trying to find him. The jig is up. It’s just a matter of time. Remember, Peel police were able to track down the key suspect in the famous gold heist case at Pearson International Airport in locations around the world, so it’s just a matter of time before they find this suspect.

Stay tuned.

Levy is known to police and the courts. Now they have to catch him and drag him into court again.

And police are asking for your help.

“He was last seen wearing a black North Face Jacket, black pants, blue Nike hat,” said police. “Levy is described as a male, Black, 5-foot-7, approximately 180 pounds with short black hair, brown eyes, and a dark complexion.”

And look for that COVID-19-style face mask that police allege he often wears to help conceal his identity. It has been an effective tool that allegedly worked 27 times in the past year. But this suspect has been unmasked by Peel police.

The next time they see him, his new accessory will be handcuffs.
