Here are three takeaways from LSU's win over Missouri.

LSU maintains dominance on the glass

After two tough games against South Carolina and Ole Miss where LSU was bullied inside, the Tigers were primed to take control in rebounding on Sunday. They did just that, out rebounding Missouri 72-25.

LSU also made good use of its 30 offensive boards, scoring 38 second chance points. It limited Missouri to just nine offensive boards, which led to a string transition game.

Track meet benefits LSU

LSU ran the floor well in the second frame to sizably increase its lead. It came away with four steals and forced Missouri into six turnovers during the stretch. On the game, LSU scored 19 fast break points and 19 points off of turnovers.

Every position crashed the boards for LSU, which head coach Kim Mulkey continues to stress as a key to victory. Her team responded as two guards recorded double digit rebounds.

ZaKiyah Johnson continues streaky play

In SEC play, ZaKiyah Johnson cannot seem to string together double digit scoring nights. She scored 16 points least week against Auburn but only seven and six points against South Carolina and Ole Miss, respectively.

Against Missouri, the true freshman found another level. She was efficient, scoring 17 points on six of nine shooting from the field. She struggled hanging inside the last two games but seemed more comfortable living in the paint on Sunday.
