LSU women's basketball strung together its second win in a row Sunday with a 108-55 win over Missouri Sunday inside the PMAC. It brings the Tigers' SEC record to 10-4 with two games remaining in the regular season.

Head coach Kim Mulkey got contributions from up and down her roster, particularly on the glass. MiLaysia Fulwiley, Mikaylah Williams and ZaKiyah Johnson each finished with double-doubles. LSU out-rebounded Missouri 72-25.

Missouri's leading scorer, Grace Slaughter, scored nine points to open the first quarter and give her team an early lead. It didn't last long as LSU claimed the lead for good with under four minutes to play in the opening frame, using a 13-0 run to go ahead.

The Tigers shot well in the second quarter, opening on a 19-1 run to take a commanding lead. They scored 12 points in transition over that stretch and knocked down three shots from beyond the arc.

Here's what Mulkey had to say following the contest.

Williams rebounds after benching

Williams didn't play a minute of the second half against Ole Miss. She finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and four steals against Missouri while guarding Slaughter.

"Mikaylah's a baller," Mulkey said. "The best thing Mikaylah really, in my opinion, did today, she guarded Slaughter. That kid's tough to guard."

"She moved her feet. She was outstanding. I don't think Slaughter shot the ball particularly well for what I've seen her do and I think a lot of that has to be attributed to Mikaylah."

Rebounding margin stands out

LSU adjusted its game plan during play since Missouri forward Jordana Reisma was sidelined with an injury and came away with 72 rebounds.

"With a lot of guards, that's crazy. We had not really practiced or prepared to play that lineup. What changed was the reports that are given in number 10 for Missouri, who we were going to have [Joyner] on, was out."

"Bob [Starkey] and I are like, 'we got a problem here.' I said, 'Go ahead with the lineup we had planned to start and then we'll just adjust and move Mikaylah inside with [ZaKiyah Johnson] and just play small and it worked and it was entertaining."

"Everybody wanted to get a piece of that rebound and take off and I think, consequently, we scored a lot of points. And that was a fun game to watch. But it wasn't something we prepared for, because we didn't know until before game time that that young lady was not playing."

Mulkey anxious for postseason play

"You have your conference. You have your conference tournament. And then you have the NCAA's playoff. What I don't know is how they will react when the NCAA playoffs get here, because that's a whole other level. That's do or die."

"They've played in front of the best fans here at LSU. To have new opponents outside the SEC, if we host the first and second rounds, which we should, I want to see how they react. Do I think it will be different? I don't, but it's always the bigger stage. The bigger the stage for those freshmen, do they perform the same way they have in the SEC? And I anticipate they will. But there is a difference."
